Career Transitions:
Fundraising as Your Professional Opportunity
This event has been canceled. Please check back for future workshops.
With the challenges the current economy holds for us all, many longtime professionals are considering new directions for their career growth. The Advancement field (fundraising, alumni relations, communications, and PR) is seeing a significant increase in applications indicating a growing awareness of this work as a viable career option. If you have been thinking about such a transition, this is your workshop. You will:
- learn about the field and how it works
- discover the difference between non-profit and for-profit culture
- identify necessary skill sets
- hear from individuals who have transitioned successfully
- meet executive recruiters who are hiring
