The objectives: 1) To provide consulting services to the Director of the Annual Fund, along with the Vice President and Executive Director of Development; 2) review, analyze and interpret fundraising data results to determine priorities and a direction for the Annual Fund, including prospect and donor management and solicitation, marketing and communication messaging, donor relations and retention programs, senior gift program, and telemarketing strategy; 3) provide a review, assessment and recommendations for enhancing and sustaining an annual giving volunteer leadership program, including the development of an orientation session for the Leadership Council members.

The outcome:  The Woolbright Group developed a comprehensive annual giving program with a significantly new direction, including data-driven analysis and reporting mechanisms, leadership solicitation strategies, marketing and communications plans, stewardship and recognition societies, goal-setting standards, and volunteer strategies. The Annual Fund at CUA is now able to benchmark its progress and has seen a huge increase in numbers of gifts and dollars raised in only six months.
