Senior Development Writer

Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Boston's Jewish Federation, is looking for a talented, versatile wordsmith to join its fast-paced Donor Relations and Stewardship team. The Senior Development Writer will work with colleagues across CJP and at partner agencies to help in the education, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of CJP donors through creative and impactful messaging and a variety of mediums (print, electronic communications and social media). This writer will produce and edit materials in support of CJP’s fundraising efforts and priorities, as well as assist in acknowledging and recognizing CJP donors and reporting on the impact of their philanthropy.
The successful candidate will have a BA/BS degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or other related area, 5+ years of professional development or related writing experience, project management skills, excellent organization skills, and strong attention to detail. Creativity welcome. Understanding of the Jewish community is a plus.
