Assistant/Associate Director of Gift Planning

The Assistant/Associate Director of Gift Planning is responsible for activities
related to development and implementation of strategies for cultivating,
soliciting, and stewarding planned giving prospects; marketing the College's
planned giving program; and working with volunteers and leadership giving
officers to help them carry out their responsibilities.


A bachelor`s degree and a minimum of three-five years' related experience
required, preferably more. Experience as a gift officer, or in a law, brokerage,
or insurance office preferred. Must be willing and able to travel 50% of the
time and have a valid driver's license. Strong computer skills including word
processing, spread sheets, databases, e-mail, Web, as well as excellent writing
and editing skills also are required. Must be able to maintain confidentiality
and be tactful and discreet in dealing with donors and alumnae of the College.
