Dear Friends and Colleagues:

This month we bring you expert perspectives in four pivotal areas of advancement: fundraising from the perspective of class officers, trends and challenges in advancement, managing human talent, and donor relations and stewardship. Individually, these interview based articles provide insights and perspectives that can serve as a touch point for those of you involved in the aspect of advancement that each article references. But taken as a whole, these four articles comprise a heady 10,000-foot overview of advancement’s most poignant questions: where are we headed, how do we get there, and how do we nurture and support the people on all sides of the equation—staff, volunteers, and donors—who are expected to do the heavy lifting? You are strongly encouraged to read this newsletter in its entirety (as you can fit it in of course—as we know how busy you are!).

Please keep in mind that The Woolbright Group welcomes your inquiries or referrals, should you or a colleague be considering hiring outside counsel to assist with your program. A list and description of our services can be found on our website.

Don’t forget—we are always interested in your recommendations for topics you would like us to explore in upcoming issues of this newsletter. Send your ideas to:info@woolbrightgroup.com Please look for the next issue of Bright Ideas coming in February.

We wish you the best of the holiday season!
